Life is gooood...

Hello again.
I jumped on here with a head full of things I wanted to write about, and now that I'm sitting here with my fingers on the keyboard I can't think of what to say. Doesn't that figure?

Anyway, I had a really good day today. Life is good.

Allie turned 7 months old on December 3rd. I know I say this alllll the time, but she is so FUN! Her little personality is showing more and more and she's just adorable. I love her so much. And she loves her mama and daddy. Some things about her:
  • She now has 2 bottom teeth which... is fun. We'll leave it at that :).
  • She can sit up now, and we're thinking she'll be crawling anytime.
  • She loves to play with my hair while she eats.
  • She loves her Baby Einstein Jumperoo and is quite skilled at bouncing and jumping like crazy.
  • She talks to the tags on her stuffed animals.
  • She loves to eat solid food... anything you want to give her: bananas, pears, apples, carrots, sweet potatoes... anything!
  • She likes to sing herself to sleep.
  • She has the most precious laugh.
In other news, it's almost Christmas!!! I am loving this season more than any other before and I'm not sure exactly why. My thoughts are turning more frequently to the Savior though, and all Mary had to go through to bring Him into the world. I heard the song "Breathe of Heaven" by Amy Grant the other day and it brought a wave of emotion. Having a baby is hard. I can't imagine traveling so long and so far on the back of a donkey at 9 months pregnant, and having the only available place to stay be a stable. Mary was a brave woman with a great load to bear. She's amazing.

I love Christmas. And I love my Savior. I'm so grateful for everything He did for me and the example that He is. I'm so grateful to have the Gospel of Jesus Christ in my life and I'm so grateful for my membership in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I know it is the true church. I have two wonderful parents to thank for raising me in the Church and for being great examples. I'm grateful for the Holy Temple. I'm grateful for my eternal marriage to my best friend. He is everything to me. I'm so happy that families can be together forever and I'm so happy Allie was born under the covenant so that she will be with my husband and I in the eternities. I hope that I can teach her all she needs to know to live a good life, to be happy and to keep the commandments.

I had a good day today. Life is good.

We're raising a big one!

My little Allie bear is 6 months and 10 days old! I can't believe how fast the time has gone. It seems like just yesterday we were bringing her home from the hospital. She's grown so much!! She has now mastered rolling over and if we put her on the floor to play she rolls all over the room.
She's getting the hang of sitting up too. She can't quite do it on her own yet, at least not for more than a few seconds, but almost. She improves everyday. Her hand-eye coordination is improving also. Put anything in front of her face and she'll grab for it. And everything goes in her mouth.
She's been eating solids for about a month now, and absolutely loves it. The very first time we gave her cereal she didn't even react. It was as if she was waiting for it all along and it was natural to her. And she loves her sippy cup.
And she's finally sprouted a tooth!!! I say finally because we've been waiting for the dang thing to show up for 2 months! Amid fussiness and fevers and runny noses. But it's here now. And we're glad.
So much changes in so little time.
I love my little girl.

Allie's stats:

16 lbs 6 oz
27 inches
70% for weight
90-95% for height

By this point I'm pretty sure she's taking after her dad.

And it's fall

Hello again.
It's been over a month since you've heard from me and I wanted to give you a quick update on how the Hilsmanns are. October flew by. But happy November! We're entering my favorite month. Wedding anniversary, Allie's half birthday, chilly weather, sweaters, hot cocoa, left-over Halloween candy, Thanksgiving, lots of family, Christmas shopping, friendly people everywhere, boots, sweatpants, fires, fudge... I could go on and on. Ah, I love November.
Well, on to the re-cap of what we've been up to. The rest of September and most of October was spent with friends and family, doing nothing significant. I've been working a lot more for the Marriott and my mother and helping out a Photographer friend (TSS Photography) take pictures of little league football. Most of my days are spent outside my home now, it really makes time fly.
On October 17th, my best friend from middle school came to visit me, with her twin sister. I hadn't seen her in about 5 years and she hadn't been back to St George in about 10 years. We had a blast catching up, reminiscing and enjoying each other's company. I was so nervous that we would be different and wouldn't have anything in common, but it wasn't like that at all. She walked in my door and it was like we were back in 8th grade talking about nonsense and laughing our heads off. She's a really special person and I'm so glad to have her in my life.

Then yesterday, October 31st was my brother Jake's mission farewell. He reports to the MTC on November 10 for his mission to Madrid, Spain. He's going to be a great missionary. So calm, collected, and fun. We're really going to miss him. Love you Jake!

Well, that's it for now. Come back soon!

My Precious

My Allie Jane is 4 months old as of September 3! She's growing up so fast... and it's very bittersweet. I love that she's growing and learning new things and developing, but at the same time it makes me sad. Everyone always says "watch out, before you know it she'll be graduating high school!" Eek. I really hope it doesn't go that fast! I want to have my baby forever! But I guess the best I can do is just enjoy every moment and make the most of it. Right?

She's so much fun right now. Her little personality is shining through more and more. She now giggles (which I absolutely adore) and her smiles are bigger than ever. She's also teething.. not the funnest stage.. but it's hilarious because she wants to bite everything! You brush her cheek and she tries to bite you. Haha. Oh yes, and she's learned how to scream. Not cry-scream, but scream-scream. It's high pitch and very much a little girl scream. Can be cute... occasionally. But defintely not cute when we're shopping in Walmart. Everyone looks at me like "what are you doing to that child?"We've figured out that it's her new way of telling us she's tired. No crying or fussing for us. We get screamed at. But we love it. And we love her.

Allie's 4 month stats:
15 lbs 1 oz
26 inches
86% for weight
95% for height

We took these pictures on Labor Day. Allie was 4 months and 3 days old.

She Did It!!!!

Allie just rolled over for the first time today!!!! I'm sooooo proud of her! It's amazing that one day she can't roll over and then all of a sudden BOOM, she's a pro. I love it! Go Allie!!!

My Seester

Posted some pics of my beautiful sister on my photography blog! Go here to see them. This is just a sneak peek... :)

I had a lot of fun with her. We spent over 2 hours together, shooting, driving around and talking and it was a blast. She's turning into a wonderful young lady and it's been fun watching her grow up. She's so incredibly talented... piano, cello, athletic, intelligent, and much more! I'm very proud of her. Love you Ky!

pregnancy brain?

I think I need some help... I've heard of pregnancy brain where you forget things, you're scattered and you're just plain (I give you permission to gasp) blonde (no offense to anyone blonde). If I was still pregnant I would use that excuse with style. Not sure that makes sense... but I would. However, I'm not pregnant anymore so that excuse gets thrown out the window. But I feel like I have pregnancy brain times a thousand. That may seem like an exaggeration, maybe it is, but it doesn't change how I feel. I am almost the dumbest person I know. Almost. Not kidding. I make up words, I am super forgetful and I'm extremely scatter-brained. Not only that, but sometimes I find myself drifting when I'm trying to listen to someone tell a story, and my brain jumps from one subject to the next with increasing speed.

Just the other day I was talking to Sean, I was trying to describe "dying of thirst" but instead I said "dying of water loss." Yes, you read that right. Then later I was trying to say "possessive" and instead said "possessional" and I was utterly confused when Sean started smirking. I was certain that was a word. I'm sure I've done this other times too... and it's embarrassing. If you've talked with me recently and you've heard me make up a word, I commend you for not laughing but I apologize for being so dumb.

Not only do I make up words and think they're real, I also forget... What was I saying? Just kidding. I'm not that bad. I did have an interesting experience on Monday though. I went to Walmart to do some light shopping, was there for about a half hour, probably walked up every aisle, and not in any order, for only 5 items. When I finally made it to the checkout, after waiting in line behind 2 people, the girl scanned 3 of my items before I realized I didn't have my wallet (sigh). Luckily they just took everything to customer service so I could pay for it after I retrieved my wallet from home. And thank goodness I only live about 5 minutes away.

Now I haven't even mentioned the scatter-brained part. Boy oh boy.... I can't seem to get anything done. I start out picking up the bedroom, I see a cup and take it to the kitchen. I notice dishes in the sink and I start doing them. I then see mail on the table that needs to be put away, so I stop doing the dishes and start going through the mail. I see a bill that needs to be paid so I take it to the computer. While in the computer room I remember I need to write an email. By the time I finish that, Allie is waking up. I go get her and I see the bedroom that is half cleaned. So I start all over. And it's very tiring.

How do I fix this problem? Do you lose brain power when you have a child? Help!

Ah, the internet

Blogs are so much fun.

With the internet growing in popularity,
and sites like Facebook and Twitter and all those other social networks
popping up everywhere it's easy to get lost in the little snippets of
what people are doing at the very second. Don't get me wrong, I'm addicted to Facebook (like most people, I hope…) and I recently discovered Twitter and I love it! I only use it for the business aspect, though. It's a great way to promote my photography and connect with other photographers.
But there's nothing like sitting down and reading someone's blog. People
open up more in their blogs, you get more details and you get to know
the person more. You get more of the Who, What, Where, Why, and How questions answered, and that tends to be a bit more interesting. It
also exposes you to different writing styles, and I love that!

I started my blog because I wanted
a better way to let everyone (that cares) know what I'm up to. It's
fun for me to write about an experience and then share pictures. I then started my photography blog because I wanted a good (and free) way to show everyone my work and direct people who are looking for a photographer to my portfolio. Why do you blog? Is it for the social aspect? For sharing what you and your family are up to? Or is it for a business?

I mentioned before how I use Twitter to connect with other photographers. I have been able to find some great people and read their blogs and see their work, and in turn have been able to direct people to my site and my work. It's all about exposure. And now that I've quit my job (more on that in a different post), I
need to promote my photography even more and I feel like Twitter is
a great way to do that.

I realize this post is a bit out there
and somewhat random, and I don't know what compelled me to even write it…I think I just want to try something new. And a blog is
pretty much an online journal, right?

What social networks do you use? Have you found relevant businesses with it? Are you even interested in looking at business's Facebook/Twitter pages? Or do you purely use it for social interaction with friends?

Saving money

Today's tip is a fun one that helps me to save lots of money (something I won't have much of now that I've quit my job).

The internet is a great tool these days and I've learned of some really awesome websites to help find the best deals around. one of my favorites is www.moneysavingmom.com . She'll post links to current deals and give a preview of the product or store. If you're on Facebook, look her up! She's always keeping up with the hottest deals around.

Also check out www.dealseekingmom.com . She finds great coupons and free items (I love free!) and other awesome deals. She's on Facebook and Twitter too.

Another great website is www.mamabargains.com . They have contracts with dozens of companies to sell their products for greatly reduced prices. Just recently they sold a box of Luvs diapers for $6 (plus shipping). I've never seen diapers for that cheap!! They post one deal at a time until it's sold out so you have to check back often or you miss out. Look them up on Facebook and Twitter to get frequent updates.

If you buy produce (and who doesn't?) you need to check out www.bountifulbaskets.org. They are a unique company selling produce for cheap! It's all fresh and mostly local (where available) and it offers major bang for your buck. It's growing in popularity but currently only available in Utah, Idaho, Arizona, Nevada, Colorado, Wyoming, Washington and Texas.

I also receive daily emails from www.pinchingyourpennies.com where they post great deals and coupon codes for online shopping from popular companies like American Eagle, Kohls, Children's Place, 6pm, and many more. Find them on Facebook or sign up for the daily emails (or both! I do).

With so many websites and more popping up everyday, why would you ever pay full price for anything again? Check them out. I promise you won't be disappointed!

Tip of the day

When you're planning for a baby, the "to get" list can get quite long and overwhelming. If you've never had a baby before, it is very difficult to know which items you can pass up and which ones are absolutely necessary. Fortunately, you at least get one baby shower, sometimes more, to help narrow down the list. But even after all the wonderful gifts (all those the adorable clothes and blankets) there are usually quite a few more practical things to buy. The above picture is of the Leachco Pillow, similar to the Boppy Pillow but cheaper and with a built in strap for safety. It's great for tummy time, or for cuddling baby when you need a break, or for support while nursing. My little angel loves her pillow! And so does mommy! I don't know what we'd do without it. Not only will she use it for tummy time but it's great at supporting her while she learns to sit up on her own. And it's great for nap time too. My baby is perfection as a night sleeper (yes I'm very blessed), but if I want her to get a decent nap during the day it has to be in this pillow. Try laying her her crib for a nap and she'll only sleep 20 minutes if I'm lucky. Lay her in her pillow and she'll sleep for hours! Yes please! This pillow is a definite must-have!

Work work work...

I started back to work last Thursday. It was pure torture. It still is. Before I got pregnant I would think about having a baby and going back to work after and I would think "it will be hard, but it will be fine." But now? I don't agree at all. It's the hardest thing I've ever done.
It is amazing how much changes when you become a mother. My sleeping pattern has changed, I now have to get up early to make sure everything is ready for her. My thought process has changed, I have to think of her and her needs. I've become almost completely selfless.... Almost :). And let's not forget how much my body has changed. I'm sure you don't want to know the details, but oh my has my body changed. I've entered into a whole new realm of learning too. Learning to correctly change a diaper (oh yes there is a right way...), and what her cries mean, how she likes to sleep, when she likes to eat, what songs she likes me to sing... I could go on and on. A lot of this stuff is baby specific, but there are also many general things to learn. That's where other mothers really come in handy! I've learned some cool things and I'm going to pass on my knowledge so others can benefit. I'm going to start giving a tip a day.

...................

Here's todays tip:

When baby's diaper leaks and stains her clothes, don't fear! No fancy stain remover is needed. Just rinse it with water and let in dry in the sun. Sunlight magically gets rid of baby poop! Amazing!

Tune in for more tips. And I'll apologize now if you already know these things. I didn't, and I find them really cool and exciting! Bear with me as I fumble through motherhood.

A little late...

This post is a little late.... but my baby is TWO MONTHS OLD!! I can't believe it! She turned 2 months on July 3rd (I told you this post was late) and she is getting more fun with each passing day. She now smiles easily and sometimes it's like she wants to giggle but doesn't know how yet. It's so cute! Every morning I'm greeted with a huge toothless grin that I can't help but fall in love with, and she's usually in such a good mood in the mornings that she'll even tell me all about her dreams. Ok... who knows what she's actually trying to say, but it is the most precious thing when she tries to talk! I love the way her lips move, it's just plain adorable. She's doing better and better at holding her head up, when I put her on her tummy for tummy time she'll keep her head up the whole time now.

I always thought that being a mom would be fun, rewarding, etc but I never knew it could be THIS rewarding and fun. I love every moment with this beautiful child, even the ones when she poops or pees on me or when she's fussy. Even her cry is adorable. She makes me laugh , she makes me smile, she makes me so proud at her little accomplishments.... she completes me... Just kidding! I know you're probably gagging by now so I'll stop :) Just know that I love this little girl!

I know you're curious so here is Allie's status update as of July 6, 2010:

13 lbs 1 oz
23 3/4 in
95th %

Sean and I went to the Red Hill to take some family pictures last weekend. Unfortunately, it was so hot that Allie did not like it very much and she was crying in a lot of the photos, but they still turned out cute. The picture above is from that photo shoot. If you want to see more, check out my photography blog!

Allie Jane

Allie is eight weeks old today!!! I can't believe how fast the time has gone. She's growing so fast, it's crazy! Here are some recent pictures of her, one of which is her first on-camera smile! So cute! She's such a good girl. She's been a good sleeper from the start, we've never had a problem getting her to bed. When she was 5 weeks old she was sleeping for about 5 or 6 hours per night and then I'd feed her and she'd go back to sleep for another 4. Now however, she's been sleeping for at least 8 hours per night and then will go back to sleep for another 2 or 3 once she's been fed. She's been sleeping in her crib since she was 4 weeks old... during the night at least! For some reason she hates to sleep in it during the day. I can get her to sleep in it for a half hour if I'm lucky, but then she's wide awake. I used to have to hold her all afternoon while she slept, but then I can't get anything done. I recently found the solution... this nifty pillow (see below)! It's just like the Boppy pillows, but it's the Walmart brand (cheaper and just as good) and she'll sleep in it for hours! Hurray for me! Now she can have a good nap and I can be productive! Plus it's awesome for tummy time, and it's great for nursing too.
...
Here's her first smile for the camera!!!
Taking her afternoon nap. So precious...
I actually got her to smile again after she woke up! She's going to be the best model! :)

Tummy time on the pillow.

It wears her out.

Some more tummy time.

It's such hard work... haha.
...

Being a mom is so much fun. I absolutely love it! I've been blessed with the most patient, cuddly, adorable baby ever and I'm so grateful. She's so easy and fun, it makes the job so effortless!
Happy 8 weeks precious! I love you!

Photoshoot

I did a photoshoot of Allie a couple weeks ago and gave Sean a collage of the photos for Father's day. He loved it! But if you want to see the photos, click here. They're posted on my Photography blog.

Daddy's Turn

Sean is a great daddy. I've loved watching him care for Allie these last several weeks. He's so patient and loving, it's absolutely endearing.

Last week, he decided to give her a bath. It was his first time bathing her alone! Usually he'll watch me do it and just hand me the soap when I need it... but this time he decided to get proactive. It was cute. Lucky for him she loves bath time, so there was no struggle involved.

All about Allie

Well I've got a few things to share today.

First up: Bath time! It's tradition in our family that Grandma gives the first bath to the newborns. My grandmother gave me and all my siblings our first bath, and now it's my mom's turn! Allie's stub fell off on May 16th and my mom came over that next Tuesday night and gave Allie her first bath. I was curious how Allie would react to it, but she liked it! She didn't even make a peep! She just layed there, cool and collected while my mom scrubbed her. It was so cute. Here are some pictures!

...
Allie was fed her first bottle by her daddy on May 26th, and she did great!

...

My mom took my sister, Kylee, and Allie and me out to lunch last week and then we got pedicures! It was such a nice treat. I love my mom! She sure knows how to take care of me :) And Allie was great. She just slept the whole time!

...

I took Allie swimming this week! My brother and sister-in-law were in town from Chicago and we all went swimming together. It was her first time in the water, and she loved it! I think she's going to be a water girl. At least I hope, because I love the water too. I can't wait to take her to the beach! Maybe we'll get to go sometime this year... crossing my fingers!

Update

Allie is one month old today! The time went so fast... I don't like it one bit! Time definitely flies when you have a baby to take care of and it's a double edged sword because I don't want to see my baby grow up! I just want her to be little forever. But unfortunely that's not how it works (boo). She had her one month checkup yesterday. She's doing great, really healthy and super big!!!

Allison's One Month Stats:
10 lbs 13 oz
22 1/2 inches long

I believe the doctor used the word "giant" when commenting on her growth. And apparently she's in the 90th percentile. I can definitely say she is NOT taking after her momma (I was prepared for that of course, but it's still a little shocking).

My Birth Story

From the moment I saw the "Pregnant" on my pregnancy test back in September, I've been imagining what childbirth would be like. There are a million stories out there, and everyone wants to tell you theirs... all about how they spent 3 hours in labor and it only took 2 pushes to get the baby out with no pain, or how they spent 30 hours in labor and a gruesome hour pushing the baby out and somehow their epidural didn't work so they felt everything. You always hope you're one of the lucky ones who gets that baby out in 2 pushes. Well... unfortunately for me, I wasn't one of the lucky ones. Here is MY story.
...

It was Friday, April 30. I had a doctor's appointment and when I got there, my recorded blood pressure was at its highest. I'd already been on bed rest for a week because by BP kept going up (and I hated every moment of it. I am not one to sit around and do nothing... my mind races with things I could be getting done), and it still wasn't improving. My doctor sent me over to Labor and Delivery to be observed for a few hours. I was able to put on one of those fashionable hospital gowns and lay in the bed hooked up to the blood pressure machine and the heart rate monitor. They also did another ultrasound to make sure the baby was ok. They measured her and said she weighed 8 lbs 13 oz! After a minor freak out, I asked if there was any way they could be wrong. The nurse smiled and said there is a one pound margin of error, but it could go either way (up or down). After a couple of hours laying in the bed, my BP went down to normal and they sent me home with orders to come back on Saturday for a follow up.
I got up Saturday morning and made it back to the hospital around 9 am. They hooked me up to all the machines again and this time my blood pressure didn't go down. On top of that, I started developing Bells Palsy (one side of my face was numb and unresponsive... totally unflattering) which concerned the nurse even more. The nurse consulted with the doctor on call and it was decided that they would induce me, seeing as I was 38 weeks pregnant, my baby was big and my blood pressure was spiking. Meanwhile, my whole family was on vacation in California and because of me, they had to cut their vacation short. Already, my imagined delivery was shattered... nothing was going the way I wanted it! I always pictured myself sitting at work when the contractions started, and rushing over to Sean to tell him "it's time!" and going to the hospital excited and ready. Oh well.
At 11 am, I was moved from the "observation room" to an actual "labor and delivery room" and the doctor inserted the first Cytotec to ripen my cervix and get things moving, with a warning that I had a 50% chance of delivering normally and a promise that I would still be pregnant by morning. He kept saying I have an "unfavorable cervix"... how's that for dashing your hopes? My family made it home by 8 pm and sure enough, I was still pregnant. By then, I had already had another Cytotec inserted but the ripening process was slow. A little after midnight, and on my third Cytotec, my contractions were finally close enough together to begin the Pitocin. I went another eight hours with just Pitocin until the doctor came and broke my water. And boy did that change everything! Up until that point I was thinking, "hmmm contractions really aren't that bad"... Yeah RIGHT. I pushed myself until early afternoon when I finally told the nurse ENOUGH I want an epidural! I thought it would be hell getting that shot but it really wasn't bad at all. The anesthesiologist was impressed that I didn't even flinch :) but I was ready for the pain to end and compared to contractions, the shot was nothing. Life was bliss after that... or as close to bliss as you could get lying in a hospital bed in labor.

Things really started progressing after the epidural and by Sunday evening I was dilated to an 8. I thought for sure I would have her by the end of the night... but I was wrong. Midnight came and went and I was still only dilated to an 8. I finally made it to a 9 in the wee hours of morning, but there I stayed. The nurse came in around 5 am and said "I just talked to the doctor and he says that we need to start looking at c-section. Your labor has stalled." I lost it. My first thought was "are you kidding me? I've been here for almost 2 days and NOW after ALL THAT I have to get a c-section?" I was deflated and I felt a bit pathetic. Why couldn't my body do it? I'm a person who likes to push through anything, so why wasn't my body cooperating? Generations of women have had normal deliveries, why couldn't I? Sean climbed in bed with me and held me while I wept like a child. I didn't want a c-section!! I just didn't! The nurse came back in and tried to comfort me, telling me that I didn't have to do anything I didn't want to and if it meant that much to me to have a normal delivery, I could express that to the doctor and they could try everything in the book to get my body ready.
The doctor-on-call came in around 8 am with his recommendation that we do a c-section. I explained to him how I felt and he said "Yes I understand. It's like you've ran a marathon but didn't get to finish." BINGO. That's exactly what it was like. It's a very disappointing feeling. He checked me again and declared I was still a 9, and then he discovered that my baby was "sunny side up" which didn't help my chances of delivering vaginally. He gave me my choices and Sean and I decided that we would give it one last shot. They increased the Pitocin to 60, came in every hour to turn me side to side hoping that it would encourage the baby to turn on her own and gave me a time limit of 2 hours. I prayed with all my heart that everything would work out for me and that I would be able to push this baby out the way I wanted to. But as everyone knows, prayers aren't always answered the way we want them to be. At 10, my doctor came in and checked me again. She said "I think it's time." She was worried about me getting a uterine infection since my water had been broken for over 24 hours. I agreed, if somewhat reluctantly.
By 10:30 they were wheeling me to the operating room. It only took a few minutes to prep me. I already had the epidural in, so the anesthesiologist just increased the dosage until my legs were completely numb and feeling as large as tree trunks. They put the sheet up to block my view and spread my arms wide. The doctor made the incision and then they called Sean in. At 11:09, our precious baby was brought into this world. Sean got to watch the miracle happen and when they pulled her out he said "It's a girl" and he turned and smiled at me.

I can't even describe the feelings that came over me when I heard her first cry. It was like nothing I've ever experienced before, and all I wanted to do was hold her. My arms ached for her. Unfortunately, when you have a c-section, your baby isn't given right to you. They laid her right next to my face for a few moments as they stitched me up, but then they whisked her away to the nursery with Sean in tow and I had to go to a separate recovery room for about 45 minutes. That was pure torture. As the epidural wore off, I began to shake uncontrollably and I hated being in that room alone. I wanted my husband and my baby.
Finally we were reunited and moved to a different room on the 4th floor (the Mom & Baby unit) and the family was able to join us. I got to hold her in my arms for the first time and I will never forget how good that felt. I love my precious baby!

My Harvest America

Have any of you heard of My Harvest America? It's a new grocery company that sells name brand products (anything unperishable) for CHEAP (and no, they aren't expired. Everything is fresh), never charges you sales tax and then ships them to your door for FREE. There's no minimum or maximum amount of groceries to buy - buy what you want, when you want. Sound amazing? Well that's not all. You also earn money by telling other people about it! I'm HOOKED! As all of you should know by now, I'm 7 months pregnant and not looking forward to the expense of diapers... but My Harvest America sells them for $3.00 cheaper than you can find them anywhere else, and they're name brand! I promise, you'll be amazed by the prices of the products. Go check out my website, look around, explore, and if you have any questions, please let me know!!

Preggo....

When I first found out I was pregnant, I had all these ideas of what I wanted to do for the baby and ways to document my pregnancy. I wanted to have something to give to my little bundle of joy later on in life to let her know my thoughts and feelings as she grew inside of me. I won't bore you with everything I've done, but here is a sneak peek. I might make a few tweaks to it, but this is the jist of it. I hope she loves it!
